Ready for your Turning Point?
As an adult, your ADHD is likely impacting your job, relationships, and ability to manage daily tasks.
Sound familiar?
Well, I work with clients to understand the challenges of ADHD and how it affects their daily lives. Once I know more about their struggles, I can create an individualized treatment plan to help them overcome these issues.
It has been the greatest honor of my life to walk ADHDers through the process of self-acceptance, establishing a life that is compatible with their ADHD brain, and discovering within themselves the ability to accomplish their goals.
This might sound like the end of the story, but it’s not.

I am just getting started. And my guess is, so are you.

Going Beyond the ADHD Label
My name is Kevin Barry, I have ADHD, and for years, I let it define me.
I was unsupported, and didn’t have any scaffolding in place for myself. I felt like such a failure. I was frustrated and full of shame. I didn’t know at the time that ADHDers need and deserve a lot of help, and so I tried to do everything myself. I researched, I studied, and did everything I possibly could to help me understand myself better. The more ADHD-related info I devoured, the more relief I felt... but I soon realized that medication alone was not enough.
But even with medication and everything I had learned about ADHD, nothing made such an immediate impact as 1:1 coaching and community.
Fast forward 20-something years, I made the conscious decision to take myself beyond the ADHD label, and have transformed my own life in a way that is nearly unrecognizable. I've been in counselling and social work for over 20 years working in mental health, addictions, oncology, Alzheimers, and with children/adolescents. I am a Registered Social Worker (#09899) and Clinical Counsellor (#12740) in good standing in British Columbia and am currently employed by Fraser Health Authority. I hold an undergraduate degree in Psychology and a master's degrees in Social Work and Public Administration. I also served four years honourably in the military where I received several awards for outstanding service.
